try, Arb, to watch the flick "The Glenn Miller Story" with Jimmy Stewart playing a spot on version of Miller.

The point being, that swing (pre-be-bop) music (and of course, Sinatra was the king of the swing vocalists I guess) is really good.

thanks cream-puff, i'll hunt that bastard down if it's the last thing i do, because as they say, it ain't nothin' if it don't have that swing; Glenn Miller was a phenom that i was into long before Jerry hit the scene; voila!

I saw Zabriskie Point as part of an Italian Film course. I'm very impressed that Cream Puff War got a print from Antonioni!! I think the new version of the film out on DVD has the entire film as the director wanted it released. I recall being very surprised by the Garcia 'love theme" piece and am pretty sure the Dark Star snippet is the one from Live Dead.

Yes, the house blows up at the end of the film and I do believe to the music of Pink Floyd (Atom Heart Mother?). More is a completely different film with an entirely original score composed by Pink Floyd. The soundtrack is available as an album. I think Floyd were supposed to do a score for Zabriskie Point but they didn't get along with Antonioni or he changed his mind or drove them nuts by not making up his mind what he wanted . Anyway he ended up using other sources...can't quite remember.
